Design Kan… is finally available for an international audience. For four years and 80 episodes the podcast has cast light on all the things design can do; lie, make you smile, drive a sustainable agenda forward and more. The podcast has become not only the first but also the most popular design podcast in Denmark and for years an international audience has been asking for an English version. Therefore, Kristina May decided to host in English too.
The upcoming English episodes will feature international profiles such as Katherine Richardson, Professor and Vice Dean and leader of the Sustainability Science Centre at the University of Copenhagen and Paula Scher, world-renowned Graphic Designer and Partner at Pentagram, Painter and Art Educator. The new episodes feature both interviews and panel discussions about the current challenges that design faces. You can already listen to the first one, “Design Can Build Less”, here.
The upcoming episodes are:
“Design Can Brand Our Future” on the 5th of September
“Design Can - Portrait of Paula Scher” on the 12th of September
“Design Can invest in hope” on the 19th of September
“Design Can Dress Up” on the 26th of September
“From shaping our daily lives to shaping our world, we believe design can be more than just beautiful. Design can create impact, drive innovation and ignite societal change. We want to provoke, excite and inspire industries to move in the right direction because we believe design can do this. Not only in Denmark but all over the world. Therefore, I am thrilled to announce our international launch for a global impact.” Kristina May, Brand Strategist, Podcast Host and Founding Partner of AM Copenhagen.
