The German industrial metal band Rammstein, which has achieved cult status in large parts of the world, has expanded their portfolio of merchandise alongside albums and world tours, which has become a significant and important part of being a modern "brand" in the music industry.
Over the past 5 years, we have worked closely with the band and 1423 to develop design lines for their products in the spirits category, including gin, vodka, whiskey, and beer. The band is involved in the design process and has a clear opinion on how the design expression should be. For example, it has been a conscious choice from the band's side that all products should be completely different. The only design anchor is the Rammstein logo.
The band now sells the products on their own website, but in addition, 1423 has pushed the products into an international market that includes the EU, US, and Asia.
